Job summary

Salesforce.com India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Lead DevOps Engineer to own automation across multi-cloud environments and build scalable Python microservices with Flask. You’ll implement IaC, secure APIs, and guide architects to improve platform reliability for hundreds of engineers.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, data-driven decision-making, and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery while maintaining production quality. Bengaluru-based role with strong cloud and containerization focus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Total experience.
• 5+ years of Flask development (Python).
• Certified in at least one of AWS, Azure, GCP or Snowflake and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred 3+ years in DevOps / Cloud Operations / Application Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade platforms supporting hundreds of engineers.
• Own Infrastructure as Code across AWS, Azure, and GCP via containerization.
• Build scalable Python microservices and internal platforms using Flask.
• Develop and maintain production-quality serf service apps within the platform.
• Design secure REST APIs with authentication, authorization, observability, and monitoring.
• Integrate enterprise applications using Informatica IICS and other modules.
• Build highly available containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot production issues across networking, cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Apply DevSecOps principles, including secrets management, IAM, vulnerability remediation, and policy automation.
• Partner with architects and leadership to improve platform reliability and developer productivity.
• Drive AI-assisted software development using Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.

You will:

• Build reliable business applications that ensure important sales and operational data is captured, maintained, and easily accessible.
• Improve workforce and resource planning by developing tools that help teams manage requests, assignments, staffing, and operational activities.
• Work with large-scale data and integrations , connecting information across multiple systems and making it available through useful applications and dashboards.
• Automate and simplify business processes by replacing manual or disconnected workflows with scalable, user-friendly solutions.
• Enable better decision-making by providing leaders and teams with accurate, timely data for forecasting, planning, and reporting.
• Develop intelligent capabilities such as recommendations, data matching, notifications, and AI-assisted workflows that improve productivity and data quality.

• Build highly available containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot production issues across networking, cloud infrastructure, containers, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Apply DevSecOps principles, including secrets management, IAM, vulnerability remediation, and policy automation.
• Partner with architects and engineering leadership to improve platform reliability and developer productivity.
• Drive AI-assisted software development using Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools while maintaining production-quality standards.
• Mentor engineers and establish engineering best practices.

Qualifications :

• 10+ years of Total experience
• 5+ years of Flask development (Python)
• Certified in at least one of the hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake) and 3+ years of relevant experience
• Preferred experience of 3+ years in DevOps / Cloud Operations / Application Maintenance
