Perficient India is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves building pipelines, managing data warehouses and lakes, and guiding modernization efforts across hybrid teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data engineering with hands-on GCP experience, strong SQL/Python skills, and a history of leading data-driven projects and migrations to GCP.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on GCP experience.
• Strong expertise in BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Advanced SQL and Python programming.
• Data Warehousing & Data Lake Architecture.
• ETL/ELT Development and Optimization.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Performance Tuning and Data Pipeline Optimization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize data workflows.
