KLA is seeking an experienced IT professional to manage and improve their ServiceNow CMDB as part of their innovative team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud platforms, data quality management, and API integrations.

Responsibilities include driving data quality and integration strategies, as well as collaborating across diverse teams to foster innovation. A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is essential, alongside substantial experience in IT and ServiceNow management.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL v3/v4 Certification (Foundations or higher).


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud resource discovery.


• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as: APM (Application Portfolio Management), HAM/SAM Pro, CSDM (Common Service Data Model).


• Experience with API integration frameworks such as REST, SOAP, or message queues.


• Familiarity with automation and DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Work experience of 7‑10 years; Master’s Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor’s Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years.

• 7+ years working with ServiceNow CMDB in medium to large enterprises supporting 10,000 users+.


• Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model, CI classes and relationships, discovery patterns & probes, Service Mapping and dependency mapping.


• Expertise in creating and managing data taxonomy, CI lifecycle, and inventory processes.


• Proven experience in integrating CMDB with infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint systems.


• Strong skills in data quality management, reconciliation rules, and governance frameworks.


• Knowledge of SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) best practices.


• Strong understanding of IT Asset Management (ITAM) and its relationship with CMDB.


• Ability to partner with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.


• Experience building dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics or similar tools.


• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and application of AI in IT operations (e.g., anomaly detection, classification, enrichment).


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to drive change across diverse technical and non‑technical teams.


• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.


• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
