Job summary

Roche Diagnostics India Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Java Full-Stack Engineer to join our RIS team. You will work hands-on across front-end and back-end, leveraging Java, Kotlin, and TypeScript with Spring Boot and Angular to deliver scalable digital health solutions.

You will contribute to enterprise-grade systems, embrace TDD practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, inclusive environment that values real-world impact and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Primary Languages: Exceptional hands-on skills in Java, Kotlin (or another JVM language), or TypeScript.
• Secondary Languages: Working knowledge of both Java and TypeScript.
• Frameworks: Spring Boot and Angular.
• Databases: Knowledge of at least one RDBMS and one NoSQL/Document database.
• Methodologies: Test-Driven Development in both front-end and back-end environments.
• CI/CD: Experience with at least one CI system (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions).
• Experience: 5+ years delivering enterprise systems.
• Leadership: Hiring, mentoring and growing engineering talent.

The Position

We expect all our engineers to be hands-on in development across all experience levels. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of front-end or back-end development (preferably both). Frameworks: In-depth understanding of Spring Boot and Angular.

Databases: Hands-on knowledge of at least one RDBMS and one NoSQL / Document database.

Methodologies: Strong commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD) in both front-end and back-end environments.

CI/CD: Working knowledge of at least one continuous integration system (e.g., Jenkins , TeamCity , GitHub Actions ).

Professional Experience Lifecycle Experience: Lived through implementing, supporting, and iterating on at least one enterprise system for 5+ years.

Leadership: Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering talent.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have / Domain Expertise

Healthcare Systems: Knowledge of healthcare software (e.g., EPIC, Cerner Millennium, OpenEMR) and open standards ( HL7 , FHIR ).

Domain Knowledge: Domain expertise in Oncology and General Practice Management is highly appreciated.
