Job summary

Bounteous is seeking a senior Java enterprise software engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead design and development of large-scale applications.

You will refine systems using Core Java, OOPS, design patterns, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices, building RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud deployments (AWS). Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Kafka, Redis and related tools are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total experience with at least 6 years in Java enterprise development.
• Strong Core Java, OOPS, data structures, and design patterns.
• Hands-on with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, collections, concurrency, and multithreading.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices.
• Working experience in system design, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
• Good understanding of SQL and strong problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to Apache Kafka, AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, or other asynchronous communication tools.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
• Knowledge of Redis, JWT/Auth, caching frameworks, and application monitoring.
• Experience with enterprise servers like Tomcat and JBoss is an advantage.
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor is a plus.
