Job summary

The Luxury Closet is seeking a Senior iOS Developer with 5–6 years of native iOS experience to own our iOS app end-to-end—from architecture and feature development to App Store deployment and maintenance. You will craft high‑performance, secure, and premium user experiences for our luxury shoppers.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of native iOS development experience with a track record of deploying and maintaining apps on the Apple App Store.
• Expert-level knowledge of Swift; strong practical experience with SwiftUI and Combine.
• Deep understanding of complex UI layouts, deep-linking, secure checkout flows, and payment gateway integrations.
• Strong knowledge of iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture) and performance/memory management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and dependency management (CocoaPods, SPM).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of The Luxury Closet's iOS application from architecture and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Design and build high-performance features exclusively using Swift.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to implement pixel-perfect, premium user interfaces.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and crashes to ensure smooth UX.
• Maintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and engineering best practices.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior iOS Developer with 5–6 years of experience to join our Engineering team. As our Senior iOS Developer, you will be the driving force behind our mobile ecosystem. With deep technical expertise, you won’t just write code—you will architect scalable features, optimize app performance for a flawless user journey, and drive the technical direction of our iOS application. You will take end‑to‑end ownership of The Luxury Closet’s iOS app, ensuring our customers enjoy a secure, fast, and premium shopping experience on a platform trusted by luxury shoppers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• App Management & Ownership: Take full ownership of The Luxury Closet's iOS application, from architecture and development to App Store deployment and maintenance.
• Feature Development: Design and build advanced, high‑performance features exclusively using Swift.
• UI/UX Excellence: Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to implement pixel‑perfect, highly intuitive, and premium user interfaces.
• Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and application crashes to ensure smooth animations and fast load times.
• Code Quality & Mentorship: Maintain high standards of code quality through robust code reviews, writing clean, testable code, and establishing engineering best practices.
• Integrations: Implement and manage secure payment gateways, deep linking, push notifications, and third‑party analytics and mar‑tech SDKs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 5–6 years of professional experience in native iOS application development, with a proven track record of deploying and maintaining apps on the Apple App Store. Experience working on e‑commerce applications is highly preferred.
• Core Languages: Expert‑level knowledge of Swift. Deep understanding of Swift UI and Combine is highly preferred.
• UI & E‑Commerce Logic: Expertise handling complex UI layouts, including compositional layouts and collection views, alongside a strong understanding of dynamic deep‑linking, secure checkout flows, and payment gateway integrations.
• Architecture & Engineering: Strong understanding of iOS application architecture (such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture), performance optimization, memory management, and debugging.
• DevOps & Tools: Working knowledge of Git, dependency management (CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager), and automated CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
