Job summary

Paybooks, part of the TransPerfect family, seeks an Implementation Specialist to onboard new clients and ensure high-quality payroll processing. You will configure payroll, leave, claims and attendance to client specs and guide customers through the system setup with accuracy and care.

The role requires at least 5 years in implementation or product support for domestic clients, strong communication, and solid knowledge of Indian HR and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client onboarding process including information gathering and system setup.
• Configure payroll, leave, expense claims, and attendance modules per client specs.
• Manage workflow through initial payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate within a team while able to work independently.
• Ensure thorough documentation and accurate processing of payroll information.
• Provide client education on software utilization and best practices.
• Adapt to high-volume periods such as month-end, quarter-end, year-end.
• Maintain knowledge of benefits, compensation, tax, and retirement plans.
• Apply analytics to address complex client needs.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Keep up-to-date with statutory payroll compliance (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, IT).
• Develop product knowledge for gap analysis between client requirements and product features.

Position Overview:

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the comprehensive onboarding of new clients, ensuring high quality payroll processing services in a dynamic environment.

This role requires a meticulous approach to organizational policies, exceptional customer service, and proficient management of client documentation and system configuration.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute the client onboarding process, including information gathering, system setup, and policy implementation
• Configure payroll, leave, expense claims, and attendance modules according to client specifications
• Manage workflow through initial payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all transactions
• Collaborate effectively within a team while demonstrating the ability to work independently
• Ensure thorough documentation and accurate processing of all payroll-related information
• Provide client education on software utilization and best practices
• Adapt to high-volume periods, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of benefits, compensation principles, income tax, and retirement plans
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex client needs
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management capabilities
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory compliance related to payroll, including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF, and Income Tax.
• Should develop in-depth product knowledge to do product fitment gap analysis between client’s requirement and product features and functionalities
