• Prepare and compute GST refund claims monthly.
• Reconcile GST returns with accounting data and file annual returns (GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
• Assist with internal and statutory audits, respond to GST notices, and address queries.

Chandak Agarwal & Co is seeking a Senior GST Executive for a full‑time, on‑site position in Mumbai. The role requires a graduate with 2‑8 years of experience, ideally with CA firm exposure. Responsibilities include monthly GST return preparation and filing, tax computations, reconciliations, and assisting with audits and departmental queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Month‑to‑month preparation and filing of GSTR‑1 returns within statutory timelines.
• Month‑to‑month preparation and filing of GSTR‑3B returns within statutory timelines.
• Computation and review of liabilities and timely tax payments.
• Monthly reconciliation of GSTR‑2B/2A with purchase registers and accounting data, ensuring proper Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims.
• Preparation and computation of GST refund claims on a monthly basis.
• Reconciliation of GST returns with accounting data and filing of annual returns in Forms GSTR‑9 and GSTR‑9C.
• Assisting with internal and statutory audits, addressing GST notices and queries from the department.
• Staying updated with GST laws and compliance requirements.
• GST reconciliations with Books, Electronic Credit Ledger, and Electronic Cash Ledger.
• Support in drafting letters/replies to the department and assistance to F&A team when required.
