Job summary

AtkinsRalis Group is seeking a senior technical leader for its Middle East Design Team in India. The role focuses on delivering innovative, sustainable and technically robust MEP solutions across HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Public Health disciplines.

You will mentor teams, guide complex design packages, and promote governance and Safe by Design across projects. The position offers hybrid work solutions with international remote opportunities and a path toward Technical Authority roles.

Overview

This position within AtkinsRalis' Middle East Design Team focuses on delivering innovative, sustainable, and technically robust solutions across all MEP disciplines, including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Public Health Engineering. The role demands strong technical leadership, the ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert, and a growing reputation both internally and externally. Responsibilities include leading complex design packages, ensuring "Safe by Design" principles, driving digital transformation, and promoting quality and technical governance. The candidate will contribute to business strategy through research and innovation, mentor teams, and support knowledge management initiatives, while maintaining commercial awareness and client engagement. This is an opportunity to influence multidisciplinary projects, develop technical capability within the team, and progress toward senior technical authority roles.

Your role

• Able to take over a technical lead role, with a growing reputation internally and externally within their field.

• Able to provide leadership on "Safe by Design" on projects and review our approach to hierarchical risk elimination, mitigation and controls.


• Undertakes specialist/complex packages of work and function as a Discipline Technical Reviewer on Medium technical risk projects within their own discipline.


• Able to present their technical work and that of their colleagues in their field to clients.


• Contributes to and researches the development of existing and new areas of technology/capabilities to inform business strategy.


• Promotes the importance of quality within their business.


• Acts as a Technical reviewer/signatory on low/medium-risk projects and bids.


• Familiar with the commercial governance, systems and project management governance.
