JOB DESCRIPTION
Graphic Designer
Role Snapshot
OneAlphaMed (OAM), a healthcare communications and medical education company, is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to develop engaging, accurate, and brand-consistent visual assets across digital and print formats.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for layout, typography, colour, and composition, and can translate creative briefs into polished designs. The role involves working closely with the content, medical, account, and creative teams to deliver high-quality work on time.

Experience: Relevant experience in graphic design; experience in pharma or healthcare communications is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Create digital assets for campaigns and communication, including social media creatives, emailers, web banners, presentations, landing-page graphics, and other digital collateral.
• Design visual content for healthcare and pharmaceutical brands while following the brief, brand guidelines, and approved content.
• Adapt artwork into different sizes and formats for various digital platforms, maintaining consistency and quality.
• Support the creation of visual assets for microsites, e-detailers, apps, and other digital experiences, as required.

Print & Event Collateral

• Design brochures, flyers, posters, standees, invitations, conference backdrops, booth panels, and other print materials.
• Prepare print-ready artwork with correct dimensions, resolution, colour settings, bleed, and other pre-press specifications.
• Coordinate with printers and vendors on proofs, artwork corrections, material requirements, and finishing, when needed.

Creative Execution & Collaboration

• Interpret creative briefs and develop clear, visually engaging design concepts.
• Maintain visual consistency and adhere to brand guidelines across all deliverables.
• Work closely with content, medical, account, and event teams to ensure designs are accurate, on-brief, and delivered on schedule.
• Make revisions based on feedback and manage multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
• Organise design files, templates, and creative assets for easy access and reuse.
• Support the wider creative team with layout refinements, image editing, retouching, and production artwork.

Required Experience & Skills

• Formal education in graphic design, commercial art, applied art, or a related discipline is preferred.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong digital and print design skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour theory, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Knowledge of print production, pre-press requirements, and digital file specifications.
• Ability to interpret briefs, incorporate feedback, and deliver accurate, high-quality work within deadlines.
• Good communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare communications is preferred, including familiarity with referenced content and medical/regulatory review workflows.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of motion graphics or video-editing tools such as After Effects.
• Experience creating infographics, illustrations, presentations, or UI-related visual assets.
• Familiarity with healthcare professional (HCP)-facing materials, patient education content, and medical education projects.
• Ability to manage multiple brands and projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
