Job summary

Fractal, a fast-growing analytics company in Bengaluru, seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to design and manage cloud-native CI/CD pipelines on GCP. You will implement IaC, automate deployments, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across Kubernetes and related tools.

You will collaborate with security teams, optimize source code repositories, and ensure reliable builds, testing, and monitoring.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in GCP, DevOps, platform engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GCP DevOps tools and services.
• Configure and maintain build agents, release pipelines, and automation scripts for deployment processes.
• Utilize IaC principles to automate provisioning and management of GCP resources (Terraform/ARM templates).
• Manage and optimize Git repositories within GCP DevOps.
• Implement branching strategies and code merging processes for efficient collaboration.
• Set up automated builds and ensure code quality through CI and testing integration.
• Implement security best practices for GCP resources and address vulnerabilities with security teams.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track application performance and health.

How You Will Make An Impact / Job Responsibilities

• Experience: 5-9 years (Mandatory- GCP, devops, platform engineering, kubernetes, docker etc)
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GCP DevOps tools and services.
• Configure and maintain build agents, release pipelines, and automation scripts for deployment processes.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate the provisioning and management of GCP resources using tools like ARM templates or Terraform
• Manage and optimize source code repositories using version control systems (e.g., Git) within GCP DevOps.
• Implement branching strategies and code merging processes to ensure efficient collaboration among development teams.
• Continuous Integration:
• Set up and manage automated build processes to ensure the reliability and consistency of code compilation.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI pipeline for code quality assurance.
• Implement security best practices for GCP resources and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular security assessments and address vulnerabilities.
