We have multiple opportunities for Senior GCP Data Engineers for our automotive client in Chennai.

Position Description:

The Data Analytics team is seeking a GCP Data Engineer to create, deliver, and support custom data products, as well as enhance team capabilities. They will analyze and manipulate large datasets to support enterprise data assets, enabling platforms and analytics. Google Cloud Data Engineers will be responsible for designing transformation and modernization solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Experience with large-scale solutioning and operationalization of data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms on Google Cloud Platform is essential. Candidates should possess a broad set of technical skills across these areas and demonstrate the ability to design appropriate solutions combining Google Cloud Platform and third-party technologies for deployment.

Skills Required:

Work as part of an implementation team from concept to operations, providing deep technical expertise for successful deployment.
Implement automation methods for all parts of the data pipeline to reduce manual effort in development and production.
Design and deploy automated data lineage pipelines. Develop, evaluate, and summarize Proof of Concepts to validate solutions.
Test and compare competing solutions, providing recommendations on the best options.
Integrate GCP Data Catalog with Informatica EDC.
Design and build production data engineering solutions using GCP services: BigQuery, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, BigTable, Data Fusion, DataProc, Cloud Composer, Cloud SQL, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, and App Engine.

Experience Required:

6+ years in Data Engineering with at least 3+ years on Google Cloud Platform.

Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.

Additional Information:

Willing to work in a hybrid mode (3 days/week) at the Chennai client location.
Seeking candidates available to join immediately or within 30 days.
Must be willing to attend a GCP coding assessment (1-hour online video) as the first interview step.
