Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Take an active part in the initial setup of any new funds, liaising with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries during the setup process.
  • Handle day‑to‑day operations of the funds and follow up with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
  • Manage fund accounts and prepare periodic and regulatory reports for the fund entities.
  • Prepare the funds’ periodic Net Asset Value calculations and year‑end financial statements, manage the audit and review other fund‑related reports.
  • Review tax returns and tax balances, maintaining relevant contacts with tax authorities.
  • Accurately record all time spent dealing with client matters to ensure clients are correctly invoiced.
  • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and administrative tasks as required by managers or clients.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Degree level education in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Some relevant experience in fund administration, audit or fiduciary services.
  • Knowledge of the fund industry, valuation and accounting.
  • Basic knowledge in accounting for investment products; experience with closed‑ended funds in real‑estate, private‑equity or debt is considered an asset.
  • Understanding of securities commonly encountered in the fund industry such as equities, bonds, contracts for difference, options and futures, with the ability to account for these securities.
  • Team spirit, a capacity to build strong client relationships, and initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate.
