• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent — or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on leadership with architecture and design.
• Proficient in ReactJS, Java/Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Senior Full Stack Lead (React + Java Spring Boot) Experience: 8+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid)

About the Role We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Lead to take ownership of building our next-generation product across the frontend (ReactJS) and backend (Java / Spring Boot) stack. This is a hands on leadership role for an engineer who is still deeply technical and thrives in design discussions, software architecture, and cross-team contract conversations while also leading a team and mentoring the engineers around them. You will be responsible for designing, building, deploying, and operating production-quality systems that are foundational to the company's success. You will be empowered to invent, innovate, and take clear end-to-end ownership of engineering problems and solutions in a technology-led environment. Leadership & Architecture Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of technical solutions as the recognized subject-matter expert.
• Own the architecture design and architecture review function across the full stack — define system design, review designs proposed by the team, and ensure solutions are scalable, operable, and highly available.
• Perform code reviews and drive adoption of technology standards, opinionated frameworks, and design patterns.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and grow engineering excellence within the team.
• Drive integration of services with a focus on customer journey and experience.
• Participate in team prioritization discussions with Product / Business stakeholders and perform demos / acceptance discussions with Product Owners.
• Estimate and own delivery tasks end to end (design, dev, test, deployment, configuration, documentation).
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies — Daily Scrum, Story Grooming, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
• Contribute to organization-level process improvement, knowledge sharing, and protection of intellectual property.

Required Skills & Experience Frontend

• Strong experience with ReactJS and its ecosystem — React.js, Webpack, Redux, Flux, and Enzyme.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and modern front-end languages.
• Familiarity with newer ECMAScript specifications and modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with user interface design, RESTful API integration, and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token (JWT).
• Experience with browser-based debugging, performance testing (e.g., Mocha, Jest), and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Backend

• Extensive experience with Java / J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Web Services, and Oracle SQL development.
• Experience building platforms with microservice architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with event-driven systems (Apache Kafka, NATS, etc.).
• Cloud-native development on Linux leveraging Spring Boot.

Platform & DevOps

• Experience with containerization and virtualization — Docker, Kubernetes (PKS), Cloud Foundry (PCF).
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and delivering scalable products on prem or in public cloud.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies (JUnit, mocking, etc.) and maintaining unit-test coverage standards.

General

• Proven tech leadership experience with development teams.
• Knowledge of design patterns and consumer-facing product design.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication skills for working with business partners and key project contacts in a globally distributed environment.

Good to Have

• Prior experience with Mastercard or a similar line of work (payments / financial technology / large-scale consumer platforms).
• Startup experience.
• Knowledge of isomorphic React.
• Experience administrating version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Experience building encrypted data stores (preferably Vault).
• Understanding of network topologies and common protocols (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, TLS).
