Mivada is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java) to join our growing Digital Technology team in Hyderabad. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, solution design, mentoring peers, and leveraging emerging tech such as Generative AI and LLM-based integrations to deliver client-ready outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, building, and delivering enterprise applications in Agile environments.
• Full-stack development with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Strong microservices, REST APIs, and secure development experience.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms; CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java) to join our growing Digital Technology team in Hyderabad. You'll work closely with clients and delivery teams to design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise applications using Java, modern full-stack technologies, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who enjoys solving complex business challenges, contributing to solution design, mentoring peers, and exploring emerging technologies such as Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.

Location: Hyderabad, India. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Hyderabad.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and support scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern full-stack technologies.
• Develop high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions across backend and frontend components.
• Collaborate with architects, project teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Contribute to solution design, technical discussions, and engineering best practices across projects.
• Work with AWS or Azure cloud platforms to develop and deploy cloud-native applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD activities to ensure high-quality delivery outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior engineers through technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and best-practice development approaches.
• Partner with onshore clients and stakeholders, providing clear communication on technical solutions, progress, and risks.
• Provide L2/L3 support for developed applications, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, UX/UI, DevOps, and Architecture.
• Explore and contribute to emerging technologies, including Generative AI, RAG frameworks, and LLM integrations, where relevant to client solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering practices, tools, and processes.

Requirements

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing, building, and delivering enterprise applications in agile environments.
• Full‑stack development experience with technologies such as React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Strong understanding of micro services architecture, REST APIs, and secure application development.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native development practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in client‑facing or consulting environments.
• Experience supporting and maintaining production applications, including troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in an onshore-offshore delivery model.
• AWS or Azure certifications.
• Exposure to Generative AI, RAG frameworks, or LLM API integrations.
• Knowledge of ITIL or service management practices.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical leadership initiatives.
