Job summary

Weekday is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Mumbai to lead design, implementation, and scaling of multi-tenant SaaS products. You will mentor juniors, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices across the engineering team while delivering high-availability, secure, and performant software.

You will work closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to transform complex requirements into production-ready code with a focus on performance and test coverage.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on experience delivering SaaS products.
• Experience designing multi-tenant architectures and scalable services.
• Strong knowledge of React, NodeJS, and modern JS ecosystem.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized deployments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable SaaS applications using React and NodeJS.
• Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for enterprise-grade clients.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and load times.
• Integrate third‑party services (payment gateways, analytics, CI/CD pipelines).
• Write automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests with CI.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, enforce coding standards.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of multi-tenant SaaS products that serve a diverse customer base, ensuring high availability and seamless user experiences. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate complex requirements into production-ready code, while maintaining a clean, maintainable architecture that supports rapid feature iteration. Your deep knowledge of React and NodeJS will be vital in creating responsive front‑ends and robust back‑ends, with a focus on performance, security, and test coverage. You will mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices across the engineering team, ultimately driving the technical vision that aligns with business goals.

• 12+ years of hands‑on experience in full stack development for SaaS platforms
• Proven track record of delivering high‑revenue products from concept to production
• Expert proficiency in React, Redux, TypeScript, and NodeJS/Express ecosystems
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non‑technical, across teams
• Deep knowledge of performance optimization, indexing, and data modeling for SQL/NoSQL databases
