Job summary

McKinsey in India seeks a senior Full Stack Engineer to own the Client Identity Platform within a globally distributed engineering team. You will design, build, and scale cloud-native solutions that ensure security, reliability, and client satisfaction.

Work closely with full‑stack engineers, SRE, DevOps, data engineers and QA to optimize infrastructure, leverage Kubernetes and AWS serverless technologies, and contribute to testing, documentation, and continuous improvement as traffic grows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a full stack engineer.
• Expert-level proficiency in Golang, Java, or NodeJS.
• Experience designing distributed systems for high-traffic environments.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• Familiarity with AWS serverless technologies.
• Strong performance optimization and scalability knowledge.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 8+ years of experience as a full stack Engineer
• Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language: Golang, Java, or NodeJS
• Proven experience designing and implementing distributed systems in high-traffic environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment
• Familiarity with AWS serverless technologies
• Strong understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and distributed systems concepts
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in production environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with a global team
