Job summary

Upsmart Solutions is seeking a frontend-focused full-stack developer to build large-scale web apps. You will work on modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Marko) while maintaining strong HTML/CSS/JS foundations and integrating backend services via REST/GraphQL APIs.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience, with Java/Spring Boot or Node.js exposure for backend services, and a data-driven approach using SQL/NoSQL/Elastic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/EE or related field.
• 5–8 years building large-scale web apps as a full-stack dev with frontend focus.
• Strong command of React, Angular, or Marko and component architecture.
• Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
• Backend exposure: Java, Spring Boot, or Node.js for services/APIs.
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL; data stores incl. SQL/NoSQL/Elastic.
• Proficient in testing (unit/functional/integration), CI/CD, and Git workflows.
• Familiar with AI-assisted workflows and prompt-based development is a plus.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• - 5 to 8 years of experience building large-scale web applications as a full stack developer, with a stronger emphasis on frontend.
• - Proficiency in one or more modern frontend frameworks React, Angular, or Marko with a solid understanding of component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• - Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
• - Working knowledge of backend technologies Java, Spring Boot, or Node.js with the ability to build and maintain backend services and APIs.
• - Experience consuming and designing REST APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
• - Exposure to data-driven application development using RDBMS, NoSQL, or ElasticSearch.
• - Proficient in automated unit, functional, and integration testing; familiar with TDD, Agile, CI/CD, and Git workflows.

AI & Emerging Technology

• - Experience integrating features using LLMs or enterprise AI APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Glean, or similar).
• - Familiarity with AI-assisted developer workflows (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality.
• - Understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or semantic search concepts.
• - Enthusiasm for applying AI responsibly to improve employee experience and automate repetitive platform tasks.
