Job summary

EY in Bengaluru is hiring for Senior- FTS&V (Process/TOM) within EY – GDS – Consulting – Finance. The role focuses on process assessments, FP&A and finance transformation to deliver performance improvements for clients across industries.

You will map As-Is and To-Be processes, drive automation opportunities, and design KPI/controls for R2R, P2P and O2C while collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging in international projects. Strong accounting and ERP knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• CA, CFA, CPA, MBA or Master’s in Finance.
• 1-2 years (Staff) or 3-6 years (Senior) of work experience in Finance.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Experience with finance functions: Record to report, Procure to pay, and Order to cash.
• Conduct workshops to map current As-Is processes and design future state processes.
• Identify process improvements using automation and standardization.
• Create L1-L5 process maps with Planview, Nimbus, ARIS, BlueWorks and Visio.
• Support implementation and development of process mapping tools.
• Design KPIs and control frameworks for O2C, P2P and R2R.
• Understand financial reports; strong accounting knowledge.
• Knowledge of Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, and Budgeting.
• Understand month/quarter/year-end close activities.
• Knowledger on SAP ERP/HANA, Oracle GL; translate requirements to technical terms.
• Experience in Chart of Accounts design; lead teams; handle high-pressure tasks.
• Open to travel domestically and internationally.

Senior- FTS&V (Process/TOM)

As part of our EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will help clients develop their Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.

The opportunity

We’re looking for Consultant / Sr. Consultant with expertise in Process Assessment assignments with process mapping experience. Also, experience in FP&A, Financial Accounting and Reporting domain is an added advantage to join the global EY - Finance Consulting team. Your Key Responsibilities

• Experience with finance functions – ‘Record to report’, ‘Procure to pay’ and ‘Order to cash’ processes involving account reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting / management
• Conduct workshops with clients to perform current state As-Is process assessment and design & optimize Future state processes as per leading practices & industry benchmarks
• Identify process improvement opportunities using automation, technology upgradation & process standardization, Finance Transformation and Operation model design and Assessments
• Create L1-L5 “As-Is” and “To-Be” process mapping using tools such as Planview, Nimbus, ARIS, IBM Blueworks and Visio
• Experience in implementation and development of process mapping tools for business functions
• Design KPIs and Control frameworks for O2C, P2P and R2R processes
• Strong accounting skills and understands financial reports and statements
• Knowledge on Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning and Budgeting Processes
• Should have knowledge of activities in financial close of an organisation for month / Quarter / Annual close periods
• Good Knowledge on ledger and sub-ledger systems; technical know-how of SAP ERP / HANA, Oracle GL (good to have)
• Translate business requirements to technical language and model (good to have)
• Good experience in Chart of accounts (CoA) design
• Managing/ supervising teams of people on project work
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
• Open to travel (Domestic & International)

To qualify for the role, you must have

• CA, CFA, CPA, MBA OR Master’s in business administration in Finance
• 1-2 years (for Staff level) and 3-6 years (for Senior level) of work experience in Finance domain
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Exposure to tools like ERP, HFM, Visio, ARIS, BlueWorks, Celonis, Alteryx, etc.
• Project management skills, stakeholder management
• Finance Transformation
