Job summary

Mercans is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to design and deliver client-facing applications with a focus on usability and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement modern front-end architectures using Vue.js, and ensure code quality through reviews and tests.

You will mentor peers, optimize delivery processes, and maintain documentation while staying aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in front-end development.
• 2+ years enterprise-level experience focusing on architecture of tools using low-code or internal platforms such as Vercel v0, Bolt, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and others.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js and understanding of the full web development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Agile and test-driven development methodologies.
• Excellent coding and communication skills.
• Nice to have experience with HR/Payroll software.

Education and Experience:

• Must have at least 2 years of enterprise-level experience specializing in the architecture of tools utilizing low-code or internal application development platforms, such as Vercel v0, Bolt, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Superblocks, Retool, Appsmith, Palantir Foundry, Lovable, orother AI rapid development tools.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Good knowledge of Agile and test-driven development methodologies.
• Excellent coding and digital development abilities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
