Job summary

VueToronto is seeking a senior front-end engineer to lead complex web applications using Vue.js (Vue 2/3). You will shape architecture with state management, routing, and performance optimizations, collaborating with product, design, and back-end teams to deliver scalable features.

In this role you will mentor junior developers, write robust tests with Jest or Cypress, and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in front-end development with Vue.js.
• 6+ years of experience building scalable and resilient web applications at enterprise scale.
• Strong knowledge of state management tools like Vuex / Pinia.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Jest, Vue Test Utils, or Cypress.
• Strong experience with Vue Router, component lifecycle, and reactive programming.
• Experience with real-time monitoring and error tracking tools (e.g., Sentry, LogRocket).
