Job summary

o9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with leadership, owning labor variance analysis, cost allocations, and close activities across regions. You will drive forecasting, AOP, and P&L management with high visibility and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• GAAP/IFRS knowledge and principles.
• Experience with reporting and budgeting tools, including AOP and quarterly forecasting.
• Month-end close and reporting processes experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in SaaS and/or Supply Chain industries is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Accounting during close to ensure accurate entries and suggest reclasses or accruals.
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget and prior year expenses, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and present P&L monthly reporting package with variance explanations and headcount analysis.
• Develop quarterly forecasts and bottoms-up budget with Finance Manager and portfolio leaders.
• Provide insights during forecast/budget and partner with GMs/functional leaders for decision making.
• Develop and monitor core KPIs to track progress toward the operating plan and improve top/bottom-line performance.

The role We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a key partner to leadership in driving business performance and strengthening P&L management. In this role, you will take ownership of labor variance analysis, labor walk reporting, volume-rate impact assessments, FX impact calculations, and cost allocations across departments and regions. You will also play a critical role in close activities, forecasting, quarterly outlooks, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). This is a high-visibility position that requires strong analytical rigor, clear communication, and effective cross-functional stakeholder partnership.

What you’ll do for us

• Lead FP&A activities including monthly/ quarterly close, analysis and reporting for the respective function/ business.
• Work with Accounting during close process to ensure accurate entries and suggest reclasses, accruals as needed
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget and prior year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
• Prepare and present P&L monthly reporting package with variance explanations, headcount analysis, expense detail by vendor
• Develop quarterly forecasts and bottoms-up budget, working with the Finance Manager and portfolio leaders
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights during forecast/budget process
• Business partner with the GMs/ Functional leaders to drive analysis and tools for improved decision making
• Develop and monitor core KPIs to track progression towards achieving operating plan and to drive both top and bottom-line performance

Experience

• 6-8+ years of experience

Education

• MBA or CA with 6-8+ years of FP&A experience preferred

Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles: GAAP/ IFRS
• Experience working with reporting and budgeting tools, NetSuite financial systems preferred
• Experience developing analysis, reporting metrics and adept with AOP, quarterly forecasting, month end close/ reporting
• Superior attention to detail, ability to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining view of big picture goals and initiatives
• Experience within SaaS and/or Supply Chain industries preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to easily interface with various levels of management
• Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills (or Google Workspace equivalent)
