Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Finance Analyst (Treasury)-to join Treasury Operations Tower -Global Finance Services Division.

The incumbent would Support the Treasury Technology Center of Excellence processes in a shared services environment. Incumbent is responsible for managing issues related to Fund Transfer, Bank statements, static data maintenance and user access in TRAX (Payment Hub), Quantum (Treasury Management tools) and eBAM(Bank account management) applications. The role will also require supporting issues or queries from end users and onboarding New Bank/Country/Payments into TRAX (Payment Hub). This role will also require supporting system deployments and upgrades. Performs treasury technology services in the most cost effective and high-quality way possible to customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the Treasury team and support the Treasury Technology Center of Excellence.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore-Shared Services

What you will do
  • Maintaining Static Data in FIS Treasury applications (TRAX/Payment Hub, Quantum and eBAM)
  • User access Management in FIS applications (TRAX/Payment Hub, Quantum, eBAM and Bank Portals)
  • Support onboarding new Banks or Payment Types into TRAX/Payment Hub
  • Support Treasury projects and initiatives (i.e. third-party customer support, SWIFT and bank connectivity projects, ERP connectivity etc.)
  • Work with banks/counterparties and 3rd party vendors to address customer questions and issues
  • Online Banking user access & Account Management
  • Bank Signer management
  • To independently perform Treasury technology functions
  • From the outset, the Senior Finance Analyst in a Treasury Center of Excellence is expected to be a contributing performer, using knowledge of and experience gained from previous positions to support Treasury processes & tools utilizing analysis techniques
  • Ability to work in night shifts to support Global operations
  • Participate in the improvement ideas and projects
  • The Senior Finance Analyst will be exposed to a variety of Finance & Treasury functions and will:
    • Develop an expanded understanding of Caterpillar’s business and finance practices, Treasury systems and procedures
    • Accomplish a high level of output with a broad range of basic analysis of Treasury Operations
    • Advise employees and entry level finance professionals
    • Generate reports and provide commentary
    • The Senior Finance Analyst in a Treasury COE identifies relevant function-related data, provides feedback, and influences decisions.
    • Typically, decisions will impact medium-risk issues
    • The Senior Finance Analyst at a Treasury COE will be responsible for making front-line decisions within defined areas of responsibility
    • Work will be directed by a Treasury Manager, but this position does not require close supervision to be effective
    • The Senior Finance Analyst at a Treasury COE demonstrates knowledge and ability to independently resolve issues by following guidelines or previously used effective solutions
    • They are highly motivated and demonstrate good communication skills and have an expanded knowledge of Caterpillar’s businesses, products, suppliers, customers and policies
    • This position manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others
What you will have
  • Strong business acumen with a high degree of process and functional knowledge of end-to-end Treasury processes, finance transformation, global business services
  • Project Management skill will be added advantage
  • Experience working on Payment integration between ERP and Bank
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multiple Business Units and teams across the globe.
  • Experience supporting Treasury Technology processes in a shared services environment preferred.
  • Strategic mindset, action-oriented, drive for continuous improvement, ability to manage change and embrace disruption.
  • Prior experience working with FIS Treasury applications (TRAX/Payment-Hub or Quantum or eBAM or Online Banking access management/Account Management) will be added advantage
  • Ability to write SQL query, Java scripts and good working knowledge on Power BI, Power Automate & Macros will be an added advantage
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholder groups to drive outcomes.

  • Shift Timing- NAM shift - 06:00PM - 03:00AM (+/- 2 hours) /Rotational shift may apply depending upon support need
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
Education:
  • Requires a college degree in information technology related field
