Job summary

Azurity Pharmaceuticals seeks a Finance BP&A Analyst to partner with US stakeholders and drive insights across Inventory, COGS, Supply Chain, Technical Operations, and Quality Controle in a dynamic, regulated environment.

The role develops budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing models, supports monthly close, and enables process improvements using Excel, Power BI, and Workday Adaptive Planning.

Qualifications

• CA with 5+ years of relevant experience; pharma industry is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle and Workday preferred.
• Advanced Excel with automation and Power BI data visualization experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building the annual operating plan (budget) for Opex and Inventory Purchases.
• Update monthly and quarterly forecast for OpEx with executive rosters.
• Deliver structured variance analysis with drivers and insights monthly and quarterly.
• Support monthly close activities, including accruals, prepayments, and fluctuations in expenses.
• Analyze inventory movements aligned with supply chain and forecasts monthly and quarterly.
• Track KPIs ( Days Inventory On Hand, Obsolescence, OpEx, Standard Cost per Unit) and provide insights.
• Assist in standard costing and COGS calculations, updating BOM-based costs in Oracle/Costing.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to understand production, procurement, and inventory trends.
• Support S&OP process by evaluating inventory risks and forecast changes for decision-making.

Job Description summary

The Azurity Finance Team is seeking an Analyst for the BP&A Operations team to partner with US stakeholders and drive insights across Inventory, COGS, Supply Chain, Technical Operations, and Quality Controle performance. The role offers exposure to operational finance in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in building the annual operating plan (budget) for Operating Expense and Inventory Purchases.
• Updating and maintaining monthly and quarterly Operating Expense forecasts including personnel rosters for each executive team member under the Chief Operating Officer.
• Assist in delivering structured variance analysis (Actuals vs Budget/Forecast) with quantified drivers and actionable insights, both on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Assist US-based BP&A teams in Monthly Close activities, including partnering with business and Supply Chain, Technical Operation and Quality Controle teams to propose accurate accruals, record prepayments, and document fluctuations in key expense accounts.
• Support analysis of inventory movements, ensuring alignment with Supply Chain procurement cycles and Commercial Sales forecasts, both on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Tracking Key Performance Indicators (Days Inventory On Hand, Excess & Obsolescence, OpEx, Standard Cost Per Unit) and providing performance insights to business partners.
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing standard cost deviations (finished good pricing, material rate variances, foreign exchange, and sales mix), highlighting key drivers and extrapolating data trends.
• Support that development of financial models for budgeting and forecasting, incorporating sales volumes, standard cost assumptions, and inventory procurement planning.
• Assist in updating and maintaining standard costing and COGS calculations, including updates to Oracle based on each products bill of materials (BOM) and underlying cost assumptions.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain team to understand production, procurement, and inventory trends.
• Drive financial visibility in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process by analyzing inventory risks (obsolescence, excess, backorders) and evaluating monthly forecast changes to support decision-making and alignment with business targets.
• Assist in identifying and correctly recognizing CapEx components of larger Tech Transfer contracts.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Procurement to support Purchase Order tracking, and approval.
• Support process improvements and automation initiatives across Operations BP&A, leveraging Excel, Large Language Models, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Power BI / data visualization tools.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: CA with 5+ years of relevant experience. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle and Workday is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including automation techniques, along with experience in Power BI / other data visualization tools for reporting and insights.
