Role: Experienced Associate - External Audit

As part of a team, your responsibilities will include planning, directing, and completing audits; supervising staff; and reviewing financial statements and related technical accounting services. You will work closely with partners and staff on people management, client relations, and practice development.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage smaller client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits within budget.
• Prepare or review work papers and draft financial statements.
• Produce client deliverables, such as drafting reports for management review.
• Identify, discuss, and propose conclusions on technical areas of financial reporting and audit issues.
• Oversee audit fieldwork and completion.
• Participate in audit planning discussions to identify risks and develop strategies.
• Act as a key client contact, providing a proactive and exceeding-expectations service.
• Supervise, train, and mentor interns during the audit process.
• Collaborate with the audit team to resolve client issues encountered during audits.
• Engage with client management to gather information, resolve problems, and suggest improvements.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and objectives to inform engagement strategies.
• Attend professional development and training sessions regularly.
