DIAGEO India is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain professional in Bengaluru South to support the unit’s purchase, supply chain and order delivery with focus on cost optimization and efficient resource management.

You will work on dispatch activities, warehouse coordination, and compliance with local excise rules, collaborating with the commercial team to meet KPIs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Supply chain Experience
• B.Com/BBA/M.Com/MBA degrees or MBA in related field

Responsibilities

• Support the unit to manage purchase, supply chain and delivery of orders with cost optimization and efficient resource use.
• Assist day-to-day dispatch operations including truck placement, warehousing, and excise liaison to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain inventory levels and reporting MIS and variations to the department manager.
• Ensure adherence to FIFO for finished goods and optimize Truck Turn Around Time (TTT).

About The Role

The Primary responsibility of the commercial function is to cater the market requirement with efficient planned manner, with the right standard and quality.

The role is responsible for supporting the unit to manage purchase, supply chain and delivery of orders with the objective of cost optimization, smooth operation and efficient resource management. (Some of these resources work independently)

This role is responsible for supporting Smooth IMFL Dispatch activities in line with company Policy & SOP and as per local excise rules. The role holder performs tasks as assigned by the UN / Unit commercial manager.

Unit production KPS and targets are clear where this position has strategic intervention being flexible and agile. This position not only concentrates on the output or targets but also ensures requirements of safety, quality, delivery, cost and moral.

Recommendations Expected

The role will need to operate within our SOA and support with daily, monthly and annual KPIs of the dispatch function as per the set standards.

• Works according to the logistics process & procedures
• Support day-to-day operations of the functions i.e., Truck Placement Day to day dispatch as per plan, warehousing, Unit Excise liaising etc.
• Monitor inventory to maintain optimum levels of stock at all times. Reports variations to department manager.
• Adherence to FIFO in FG
• Maintain optimum TTT (Truck Turn Around Time)
• Maintains MIS & completes data entry for SAP/TMS, GRN entries and other reporting tools

Financial Accountability (Budget/Revenue)

• Assist unit head/ department head for preparation of daily & monthly MIS
• Maintain MIS on dispatch, Inventory & Excise related reports etc.
