Job summary

MAX-HR-SOLUTIONS is seeking a Dialysis Quality & Compliance professional to ensure top standards across assigned dialysis centres in India. You will monitor clinical parameters, infection control, water quality, and documentation, while leading trainings and CAPA actions.

The role requires 5–7 years in dialysis/healthcare quality operations, strong analytical and leadership skills, and proficiency with Axis software and MS Excel. Regular centre visits and strict SLA adherence are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality, clinical, operational, and patient-safety standards across dialysis centres.
  • Monitor KPIs such as Kt/V, CBV, and dry weight across centres.
  • Maintain dialyser reuse documentation and labelling.
  • Conduct infection control measures and vaccination compliance.
  • Coordinate RCA and CAPA for outbreaks and defects.
  • Perform quarterly technical training at centres and report to Project Lead.
  • Monitor RO water & dialysate quality with daily TDS checks and Axis entries.
  • Ensure 100% SOP compliance and timely escalation of non-conformities.
  • Escalate machine breakdowns to BME within 24 hours and track repairs.
  • Analyze consumables usage and flag wastage; report actionable variations.
  • Support NABH quality audits and ensure NCs are closed within 2 weeks.
  • Visit centres monthly and submit QA checklists via Axis.

Job description

Role & responsibilities : Job Purpose

To ensure quality, clinical, operational, and patient-safety standards across assigned dialysis centres by monitoring dialysis quality parameters, compliance with SOPs, infection control, water quality, documentation, training, audits, and corrective/preventive actions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Dialysis Quality & Clinical Parameters
  • Monitor and ensure Kt/V >1.2 for at least 80% of total patients per centre.
  • Ensure CBV >55L for at least 80% of total patients per centre.
  • Ensure achievement of dry weight in at least 70% of patients.
  • Monitor dry-weight outliers and ensure cases with a difference of >1 kg between post-dialysis weight and dry weight do not exceed 20%.
  • Ensure adequate dialysis duration is achieved for 80% of total patients per centre.
  • Monitor dialysis frequency and ensure 80% compliance with prescribed 2x/3x weekly dialysis, with the remaining inadequate cases properly justified.
2. Dialyser Reuse & Documentation
  • Ensure the required number of dialyser usages as per approved reuse guidelines.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of dialyser reuse registers.
  • Ensure correct labelling and documentation corresponding to each patient and centre.
  • Identify gaps and take corrective action wherever required.
3. Infection Control & Patient Safety
  • Ensure viral marker testing once every 3 months as per the recommended schedule.
  • Ensure patient vaccination is completed as per the recommended schedule.
  • In case of an infection outbreak:
  • Submit a preliminary report within 24 hours.
  • Conduct a detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
4. Training & Awareness
  • Conduct technical training and awareness programmes once every quarter at every assigned centre.
  • Ensure all relevant staff participate in the training.
  • Prepare and submit training reports in the recommended format to the Project Lead.
  • Identify recurring quality gaps and arrange additional training wherever required.
5. RO Water & Dialysate Quality
  • Ensure daily monitoring of RO water TDS at every assigned centre.
  • Ensure daily TDS entries are updated in Axis and verified on the same day.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with the water testing schedule.
  • Ensure water testing reports are updated in Axis within 72 hours.
  • Ensure a maximum 1-week TAT for corrective and preventive action (CAPA) related to abnormal water parameters and dialysate electrolyte results.
  • Monitor and elevate any water-quality concerns immediately.
6. SOP & Process Compliance
  • Ensure 100% compliance with approved SOPs across assigned dialysis centres.
  • Conduct regular checks to identify deviations.
  • Ensure timely corrective action and follow-up for all identified gaps.
  • Escalate critical or repeated non-compliance as per the defined escalation matrix.
7. Machine Breakdown & BME Coordination
  • Escalate machine breakdown issues to the BME Team within 24 hours of receiving information.
  • Ensure CMS is completed within 3 working hours, wherever applicable.
  • Follow up on unresolved machine issues and ensure timely closure.
  • Escalate any inaction or delay to management as per the escalation matrix.
8. Consumables & Cost Monitoring
  • Analyse consumption data for selected consumables as defined in Axis.
  • Compare consumable consumption with the number of dialysis sessions/patients.
  • Identify abnormal consumption or wastage.
  • Take appropriate corrective actions and report significant variations to management.
9. NABH & Quality Audit Compliance
  • Support NABH and other quality audits at assigned centres.
  • Ensure timely closure of Non-Conformities (NCs) and observations within 2 weeks.
  • Track audit action plans and maintain proper documentation.
  • Ensure recurring observations are addressed through effective CAPA.
10. Axis Data Monitoring & Corrective Actions

Regularly analyse Axis data and take corrective actions related to:

  • Laboratory parameters
  • Vascular access status
  • Addition of patients
  • Patient exits
  • Patient dropoutsDialysis quality indicators
  • Other centre-level quality and operational parameters
11. Event Reporting & RCA
  • Ensure all clinical/operational events are reported within 1 working day.
  • Ensure RCA is completed within 72 hours.
  • Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track recurring events and recommend preventive measures.
12. Centre Visits & Quality Monitoring
  • Ensure a minimum of 1 visit per month to each allocated dialysis centre.
  • Conduct centre audits and quality assessments using the approved QA Checklist.
  • Identify gaps during centre visits and communicate corrective actions to the concerned team.
  • Submit the completed Centre Visit Report/QA Checklist in Axis within 24 hours of the centre visit.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Kt/V achievement: >1.2 in 80% patients
  • CBV achievement: >55L in 80% patients
  • Dry weight achievement: 70% patients
  • Dry weight outliers: 20%
  • Adequate dialysis duration: 80% patients

Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Graduate with a Diploma/Certification in Dialysis Technology.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in dialysis/healthcare quality operations.
  • Prior team handling/leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dialysis processes, infection control, water quality, SOPs and quality standards.
  • Good analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and identify quality gaps.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Willingness to travel and visit assigned dialysis centres regularly.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, reporting systems and Axis/software platforms preferred.
