Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking an Upstream Production Specialist for our Biosimilar facility in Ahmedabad. The role involves leading upstream mammalian cell culture operations, using single-use bioreactors, shaker flasks, and perfusion techniques.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of experience in biosimilar upstream production, exposure to regulatory audits, and strong documentation within QMS. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Life science graduate or postgraduate (M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology or Microbiology).
• 5–10 years total experience in upstream biosimilars.
• Ahmedabad exposure is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for Upstream Production for Mammalian/Cell culture.
• Engage in Cell Culture techniques such as Single use Bioreactors, shake flasks and perfusion technology.
• Operate lab equipment such as microscope, cell counter, osmometer and biochemical analyzer.
• Prepare SOPs, maintain QMS, and manage qualification and validation of equipment; take lead on batch manufacturing.

• Education: Life science Graduate / Postgraduate


• Total Years of Experience: 5 - 10 Years


• Job Location: Ahmedabad

Roles Responsibilities

Upstream

• Responsible for Upstream Production for Mammalian/Cell culture.


• Should have exposure on various Cell Culture techniques such as Single use Bioreactors, shake flasks and perfusion technology.


• Lab equipment handling such microscope, cell counter, osmometer and biochemical analyzer.


• SOP preparation ,QMS, Qualification and validation of equipment in the initial stage and then responsible for Batch manufacturing.

Candidate Details

• The candidate should have worked in Biosimilars Upstream production (Mammalian Culture) for atleast 5 Years and exposure to Perfusion technology is must.


• Exposure to Regulatory Audit is Must.


• Should be aware of QMS Documentation.


• The candidate should have good communication skills.
