Job summary

Firstsource seeks a Senior Executive - HR (Payroll) to lead end-to-end payroll operations for Europe. The role coordinates with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely payroll and strict compliance with cross-country regulations.

You will manage data in HRIS systems, produce reports for leadership, and drive process improvements while maintaining data privacy in line with GDPR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in payroll processing with exposure to European payroll.
• Experience managing multi-country payroll operations is preferred.
• Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP).
• Strong understanding of European payroll regulations and compliance.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll tools.

Responsibilities

The Senior Executive - HR (Payroll) will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll operations for the European region, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. The role requires strong knowledge of European payroll regulations, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

• Execute end-to-end payroll processing for multiple European countries in line with defined timelines.
• Validate payroll inputs including new hires, exits, variable pay, bonuses, statutory deductions, and benefits.
• Ensure accurate processing of monthly payroll, including reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Compliance & Statutory Adherence

• Ensure payroll compliance with country-specific labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across Europe.
• Maintain updated knowledge of payroll legislation changes and implement necessary updates.
• Support audits (internal/external) by providing required documentation and reports.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and external payroll vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations.
• Act as a point of contact for employee payroll queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with regional teams to align payroll processes and policies.

Data Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in HRIS/payroll systems.
• Generate payroll reports, dashboards, and analytics for leadership review.
