Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) implementation and compliance.
• Conduct HAZOP/PHA studies and track recommendation closure.
• Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system, JSA, training, and audits.
• Maintain fire protection systems and emergency safety equipment.
• Plan and conduct emergency response training and mock drills.
• Ensure Emergency Response Team (ERT) preparedness.
• Monitor safety KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Implement and maintain Occupational Health, Safety, and Process Safety Management (PSM) systems to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, HAZOP, Management of Change (MOC), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
• Administer the Permit to Work (PTW) system, review Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and conduct safety training and audits.
• Carry out workplace safety inspections, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain emergency response preparedness, including ERT training, mock drills, and inspection of fire protection and emergency equipment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Monitor safety performance through leading and lagging indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
• Support EHS projects, digitalization initiatives, PPE management, contractor safety, and documentation.
• Conduct employee safety awareness programs, toolbox talks, and competency development while supporting management in achieving organizational EHS objectives.
