Job summary

You will coordinate with GIS, BIM, and multidisciplinary teams, produce reports, support capital investment plans, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater conveyance planning, modelling, and design.
• Experience using industry-standard hydraulic modelling software.
• Understanding of water distribution networks and wastewater collection systems.
• Experience preparing technical reports and design calculations.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
• Familiarity with international design standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Undertake hydraulic modelling and engineering design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Develop and maintain hydraulic models for planning and design studies.
• Perform demand and load assessments and capacity analyses.
• Prepare design calculations, technical reports and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with GIS, BIM, civil, mechanical, electrical and treatment teams.
• Support preparation of client presentations and technical submissions.
• Identify technical risks and elevate issues when required.
• Provide guidance to graduate and junior engineers.

Role Outline / Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineer – Conveyance, you will independently deliver engineering and modelling tasks for water and wastewater network projects while supporting project leads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Duties

• Undertake hydraulic modelling and engineering design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
• Develop and maintain hydraulic models for planning and design studies.

• Review model outputs and engineering calculations for technical accuracy.

• Participate in project coordination meetings and technical workshops.
• Support quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Identify technical risks and elevate issues when required.
• Provide guidance and support to graduate and junior engineers.
