Job summary

Forvia seeks a PLM support engineer to serve as the primary contact for Teamcenter and 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA CAD users. You will manage tickets, identify root causes, and coordinate with L2 teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

The role requires CAD/PLM proficiency, strong communication, and an international mindset to collaborate with global partners. Training and knowledge sharing are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 3–5 years in PLM support (Teamcenter/3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA) in automotive.
• Experience with CAD and PLM systems; knowledge of part management on PLM.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills; able to work with international customers.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for Teamcenter/3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA PLM and CAD user support; manage tickets.
• Identify root causes and coordinate with L2 teams when needed.
• Monitor requests, track incidents, elevate complex issues to higher-level experts.
• Maintain detailed support documentation to improve efficiency.

Qualification, Experience:

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical and Mechanical disciplines.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in the field of PLM- L1 Support Teamcenter / 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA from Automotive domain.

Required Skill sets:

• Good knowledge on CAD tools like CATIA V5 / UG NX / CREO
• Good knowledge on PDM & PLM Systems (3D Experience Enovia/ Team center)
• Should possess knowledge of Business Rules / guidelines / standards related to part management on PLM System.
• Strong problem-solving skills, resolving issues from an end user perspective.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• International mind set, ability to work with international customers.
• Good knowledge on MS excels, MS word, MS PowerPoint.

Job Description

Key Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the primary point of contact for Teamcenter / 3DEXPERIENCE ENOVIA PLM and CAD user support, managing incoming tickets and ensuring timely resolution of issues within defined timeline.
• identify the root cause of problems and implement effective solutions, coordinating with other technical teams (L2) when necessary.
• Monitor support requests in, track incidents, and elevate complex issues to higher-level technical experts.
• Maintain detailed support documentation to help users to resolve common issues and improve the overall efficiency of the support process.
• Collaborate with the engineering and IT teams to enhance system performance, address recurring issues, and implement preventive measures to reduce downtime.
• Good knowledge on engineering fundamentals, Product development process, product design, manufacturing process.
• Strong understanding of Change management, engineering release process.
• Know the business requirements and functionalities development process accordingly.
• Good knowledge on key functionalities of PLM (Part attribute, EBOM, CADBOM, MBOM, etc.)
• Collaborate with Global PLM network and work as a key point of contact for site.
• Support new features, improvement ideas, identifying new opportunities on integrating key features/functions,
• propose value added enhancement, results adding new functionality to existing system for improve efficiency of existing process.
• Perform UAT, Run test cases and report bugs/issues.
• organize training to end users and awareness sessions on key KPIs and Knowledge sharing sessions.
• Knowledge of PLM Business requirement gathering.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Minimum education level:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Master's degree preferred

Professional Experience:

• Experience in Design & Development within an industrial environment, ideally in the automotive industry
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management process
