The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in piping design and detail engineering activities. Responsibilities include conducting piping design, preparing project estimates, and participating in technical reviews. Familiarity with international design codes is essential.

Job description

• Piping Design Engineering in Petrochemical, Refinery & Biogas, Oil & Gas Sector, WTP, Bio process plant projects with proficiency in 2D & 3D Modelling and Detail engineering.
• Hands-on experience in tools like CADWorx used to create 3D Piping Modelling, Equipment Modelling, Piping GA, Iso extraction and Reviews.
• Ability to understand piping codes and standards. Checking project scope of work for all engineering activities
• Study of technical document and understanding the scope of work
• Pipe planning as per FEED documents and Scope of work
• Planning and Routing of pipe as per P&ID in 3D Modelling Environment
• Knowledge of administrative work related to software such as CADWorx
• Knowledge of Detail engineering activities such as Equipment & Piping layout, Piping isometrics and Material Take-off
• Familiarity with international design codes and standard (ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI)
• Knowledge of Primary & secondary supports and support detailed drawing
• Study of PFD, P&ID, Plot plan, Instrument Hook-up drawings, civil drawings & various layout drawings
• Familiar with interference checking of overall plant model in Navisworks
• Attend the internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings. Provides technical support to Team
• Prepare project estimate for the piping effort
• Work jointly with Project Engineer and Engineering team
