Job summary

Würth Elektronik India seeks a Senior Engineer PCB Design to drive end-to-end PCB design for multicore, high-speed PCBs. You will develop schematics, footprints, and libraries using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, and ensure DRC/ERC compliance across designs.

Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams, participate in DFx reviews, and deliver production-ready documentation per IPC standards. Strong English communication required for cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communications or EEE, with 3–6 years PCB design experience.
• Hands-on in Altium Designer and Cadence (Allegro/OrCAD), high-speed routing, stack-up design, PCB manufacturing, EMC/EMI, and signal integrity.
• Drive for reliable, high-performance, production-ready PCBs.
• Good English language skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive with cross-disciplinary balancing.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end PCB design of multilayer, high-speed PCBs from concept to fabrication, ensuring electrical and manufacturing compliance.
• Create schematics/footprints/libs in Altium Designer and Cadence; run DRC/ERC and fix layout issues.
• Design high-speed interfaces (DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI) with constraint-driven layouts.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and manufacturing teams; participate in DFx reviews.
• Produce fabrication/assembly docs (Gerber, ODB++, BoM, drawings) per IPC standards.

What to expect

• End-to-end PCB Design: Develop multilayer, high-speed, and mixed-signal PCBs from concept to fabrication, ensuring electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing compliance
• Tool expertise: Create schematics, footprints, and libraries using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, perform DRC/ERC checks and resolve layout issues
• High-speed interface design: Execute constraint-driven layouts for DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and other critical interfaces
• Collaboration and reviews: Work closely with hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams and actively participate in design and DFx reviews (DFM/DFA/DFT)
• Production-ready deliverables: Generate fabrication and assembly documentation (Gerber, ODB++, BoM, assembly drawings) while ensuring adherence to IPC standards

What you bring

• Basics: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communications or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with 3–6 years of proven PCB design experience
• Knowledge: Hands-on expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence (Allegro/OrCAD), high- speed routing, stack-up design, and understanding of PCB manufacturing, assembly, EMC/EMI, and signal integrity principles
