Job summary

Guardian Life seeks a SharePoint-focused project lead to define design and strategy for new initiatives, while managing the lifecycle under governance standards. You will troubleshoot SLAs for existing SharePoint Online applications, drive reporting and automation, and collaborate with stakeholders on enhancements.

The role emphasizes hands-on design artifacts (HLD/LLD/DLD) using Visio and Word, with close involvement in planning, budgeting, and risk tracking across projects based in Chennai.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining SLAs.
• Proficiency with SharePoint Online design/maintenance and governance.

Responsibilities

• Determine the design and workout strategy for new projects; lead the project lifecycle following governance models.
• Identify and resolve issues within defined SLAs as part of routine maintenance of existing SharePoint Online applications.
• Report extraction and automations to support metrics maintained in the applications.
• Work with stakeholders on enhancements to existing applications.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and tracking of actual efforts; communicate status, risks, and impediments regularly.

• Report extraction and automations to support different metrics, that are maintained in the applications.
• Work with Stakeholders on the enhancements in the existing applications.

Project Planning, Tracking, & Reporting

• Workout budgetary estimates during kick off, after understanding the high-level requirements.
• Support the team in project planning activities, identify risks proactively, escalating thru appropriate channels as required and responsible for closely tracking the actual efforts.
• Communicate regularly the status of Projects, risks that creeps, impediments if any.

Design

• Familiar with Microsoft Visio, Word to create HLD, LLD, DLD in various stages of SharePoint site development and maintenance.
