Job summary

Shure is seeking an experienced Engineer Senior, IT Quality Assurance to ensure high‑quality operation of global enterprise systems by planning and executing testing across SAP S/4HANA and integrated platforms.

You will build automated test suites, validate ERP processes, support data and deployment readiness, and partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure requirements are traceable and delivered with top‑tier quality. Hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including significant ERP application testing.
• 3+ years of experience leading day-to-day test execution on projects/initiatives.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Deep expertise and hands-on testing experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience across SAP S/4HANA modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, QM, LO) and business processes (O2C, P2P, D2S).
• Knowledge of IDoc/EDI flows, pricing/tax engines, outputs/forms, batch jobs, and job monitoring.
• Exposure to performance testing (Neoload, JMeter, LoadRunner) and data validation using SQL or SAP reporting tools.
• Experience with data migration testing, cutover validation, and hypercare support.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute regression and end-to-end tests across ERP processes in SAP S/4HANA and integrated systems.
• Create and maintain reusable automated test suites for SAP GUI, Fiori and Salesforce using tools such as Tosca, Playwright, or AccelQ.
• Build robust test data sets, validate master data dependencies, and support transport/smoke testing after deployments.
• Verify integrations and data flows across middleware and downstream systems (IDoc/EDI, BAPIs/OData/REST/SOAP, SAP CPI).
• Trace and validate configuration changes and behaviors across dependent SAP modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to own and drive requirement coverage, process definition and traceability.

Overview

The Engineer Senior, IT Quality Assurance role ensures the smooth, reliable, and high‑quality operation of Shure’s global enterprise systems by planning, designing, and executing comprehensive testing activities across SAP S/4HANA and integrated platforms. The engineer works both independently and collaboratively, aligning to defined project priorities and timelines while driving continuous improvements in test coverage, automation, and system efficiency. This position builds and maintains automated test suites, validates complex ERP processes and integrations, supports data and deployment readiness, and partners closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure requirements are fully understood, traceable, and delivered with top‑tier quality.

• Create and maintain reusable automated test suites for SAP GUI, Fiori and Salesforce using tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, or AccelQ.
• Build robust test data sets, validate master data dependencies, and support transport/smoke testing after deployments.
• Verify integrations and data flows across middleware and downstream systems (IDoc/EDI, BAPIs/OData/REST/SOAP, SAP CPI), including error handling, traces and reconciliation.
• Trace and validate configuration changes and behaviors across dependent SAP modules.

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, including significant ERP application testing.

Preferred

• Snowflake ELT data testing and validation experience
• Understanding of security/roles testing and basic IAM concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to read ABAP logs, CDS views, and BRFplus rules to support defect analysis
• Experience with middleware for ERP integrations (Boomi, SAP CPI) testing source-to-target mappings, orchestrations, data flows, and errors.
• Hands on testing experience with SAP Commerce, and Salesforce
