Job summary

A leading professional services consulting firm seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer in India to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in building design and project supervision, especially within the Middle East. Responsibilities include managing quality assurance, coordinating with various disciplines, and reviewing technical submittals. Candidates should possess strong presentation skills and be proficient with relevant Microsoft applications, alongside familiarity with both BS and American standards. Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge & experience in building design and supervision of Middle East projects.
• Familiarity with local authority codes and regulations in UAE, KSA & Qatar.
• Solid understanding of HVAC, Public Health and Fire fighting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Quality Assurance system for the project.
• Coordinate between disciplines to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Senior Electrical Engineer to join WSP India with extensive knowledge & experience in building design and supervision of middle east projects. Achieve successful co-ordination between disciplines and manage the Quality Assurance system for the project. Manage, direct and supervise direct reports to satisfy the time and quality targets, whilst meeting or exceeding Clients’ expectations.

1. Review of technical submittals such as shop drawings, material submittals and method statements of all HVAC, Public Health and Fire fighting including coordination with all other discipline requirements of the project and with all the regulatory requirements.
2. Respond to contractor’s RFI’s related to discipline works.
3. Design coordination with other disciplines to ensure constructability.
4. Coordination with Structural / Architectural /ID/Electrical/ELV Disciplines.
5. Excellent working knowledge of CIBSE/ASHRAE , NFPA, FLS code, UAE, KSA & Qatar Local authority Codes and regulations.
6. Review of all the handing over documents of the project like O&M, Warranty etc.
7. Report to project lead and update on issues as required.
