Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5-7 years of technical experience in the electrical industry dealing with low/medium voltage systems and product sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates using Eaton products and services.
• Develop and review IEC 61439-compliant designs and assembly drawings for MSBs, PCCs, MCCs, DBs, and control panels.
• Perform equipment selection, protection coordination, fault level assessment, busbar sizing, feeder configuration, and system design for LV power distribution.
• Prepare high-quality technical proposals and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with customer specs, standards, and commercial requirements.
• Interpret SLDs, specifications, panel schedules, and customer requirements to deliver practical engineering outcomes.
• Collaborate with customers, consultants, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to provide technical guidance and deliver Eaton solutions.
• Coordinate with project, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure seamless transition from estimation and design through production and dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 61439, IEC 60947, and relevant requirements.
• Support design verification, FAT activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality and margins.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and achieve KPIs related to quotation turnaround and conversion rates.

What you’ll do:

Design and deliver IEC 61439-compliant LV switchboard solutions, including MSBs, PCCs, MCCs, and DBs. Responsible for estimation, design, tendering, technical consultation, and project handover, ensuring technically compliant, commercially competitive, and customer-focused outcomes while driving operational efficiency and business growth.

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates using Eaton products and services, delivering technically compliant and commercially competitive solutions that maximize customer value and project profitability.
• Develop and review IEC 61439-compliant designs and assembly drawings for Main Switchboards (MSBs), PCCs, MCCs, Distribution Boards (DBs), and control panels, optimizing material utilization, manufacturability, and assembly efficiency.
• Perform equipment selection, protection coordination, fault level assessment, busbar sizing, feeder configuration, and system design for LV power distribution applications.
• Prepare high-quality technical proposals and tender submissions, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and commercial requirements.
• Interpret SLDs, specifications, panel schedules, and customer requirements to develop practical, solution-oriented engineering outcomes.
• Collaborate with customers, consultants, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to provide technical guidance and deliver optimal Eaton solutions.
• Coordinate with project, manufacturing, and procurement teams to ensure a seamless transition from estimation and design through production and dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with IEC 61439, IEC 60947, and relevant customer and utility requirements.
• Support design verification, FAT activities, technical clarifications, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and project margins.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and achieve key performance targets related to quotation turnaround, estimate accuracy, conversion rates, and business growth.
• Provide technical leadership and share engineering best practices across estimation and design teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with exposure to LV Electrical System.
• Minimum of 5-7 years technical experience within the Electrical industry dealing with low / medium voltage systems and technical product sales required

Skills:

• Strong understanding of low-voltage main switchboards and distribution-board design principles.
• Ability to interpret customer specifications, single-line diagrams, and electrical schematics and develop appropriate, compliant technical solutions.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical design tools, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, product applications, manufacturing processes, and design-for-assembly principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
• Collaborative approach with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of SAP.
