The role is to manage the complete engineering activities, such as detailed design, Continuous Improvements and manufacturing drawings of various fixtures used in retail stores. He/ She will be responsible for the complete ownership of the quality of deliverables and for managing the time and cost of all the projects executed. Looking for 3-6 years of experience.

- Design and develop new products and maintain existing product designs through Continuous Improvement and VAVE initiatives.
- Ensure on-time project delivery while adhering to the highest technical and quality standards. Meeting these standards will be a key performance metric.
- Function as an individual contributor with full ownership of deliverables, including effective work planning and prioritization within the assigned domain.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance product performance, reduce cost, and improve processes.
- Mentor and guide trainee engineers and junior engineers in developing their technical skills.

Required Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
- Experience in designing mechanical products at the component, subsystem, and system levels (preferably in the Retail Fixtures domain).
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute tasks related to new product development, product improvements, value engineering, BOM management, and basic cost estimation.
- Having a deep understanding of Tubular Frame design, Sheet metal design, Wood Design Machined components design manufacturing.
- Hands-on expertise in Autodesk Inventor modules including Part Modelling, Assembly, Sheet Metal, and Engineering Drawings (mandatory).
- Demonstrates independence in deliverables while seeking supervision when required; capable of contributing effectively as an individual contributor.
- Practitioner-level skills in the respective design domain.
- Strong understanding of materials (steel, aluminium, plastics, wood, etc.), fabrication methods, and surface finishing techniques used in fixture manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GDT , tolerance stack-up analysis, DFMEA, DFM, DFA, and concept selection techniques.
- Experience in prototyping and testing such as prototype validation, product performance tests etc. will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience/exposure to working in a global engineering environment , including cross-continent collaboration, communication with overseas teams.
