Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced embedded software module lead to drive BMS software for BESS systems, delivering lifelines for critical ecosystems. You will own the module scope and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery that meets customer expectations.

The role requires BTech in CSE/EEE and 6–10 years of hands-on experience with MCU/AFE architectures, BMS functions, safety standards, CI/CD, MISRA, and HIL/SIL

• BTech in CSE / EEE with strong fundamentals.
• 6–10 years of experience in embedded software for BMS.
• Domain expertise in BESS systems and BMS safety features.

• Lead small feature teams and mentor juniors.
• Ensure V&V coverage and adherence to safety standards.
• Deliver modules on time with quality meeting customer expectations.

Job description

You will be part of a passionate embedded software development team who develop BMS Software for BESS systems thereby providing lifeline for critical ecosystems.

You will act as a module lead for the specific modules and thereby play a pivotal role in finishing the jigsaw puzzle

You are expected to take up assignments proactively and delivering on-time, quality meeting customer expectations

Qualifications

BTech in CSE / EEE

Experience : 6 years - 10 years

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• MCU & AFE: Deep expertise with S32K3 family, AFE daisy-chaining, diagnostics.
• Communication Protocols: Expert knowledge in TPL/isoSPI, CAN
• BMS Functions: Advanced SOC/SOH/SOP with temp compensation, passive + active balancing, fault detection (open-wire, leakage, thermal).
• Functional Safety: Implementation of SIL2-compliant safety mechanisms (CRC, watchdog, memory tests).
• Standards & Compliance: Active implementation against IEC 60730-1, IEC 61508 SIL2, UL 1973.
• Tools & Methods: CI/CD integration, MCAL, static analysis (MISRA, Polyspace etc). HIL/SIL testing. CAN, Ethernet, Modbus tools, Scripts (Python Automation)

Leadership

Leads small feature teams, mentors juniors, ensures V&V coverage.
