Job summary

Cyient Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded vision engineer to design and optimize perception systems for automotive applications. You will work on C/C++ software, embedded Linux on Yocto, and sensor pipelines with camera, radar, LiDAR, and IMU.

The role requires strong debugging skills, real-time performance tuning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in embedded vision/autonomy systems.
• Expertise in C/C++ and embedded Linux (Yocto-based) development.
• Experience with OpenCV, GStreamer, CUDA, and NVIDIA DeepStream for perception pipelines.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and automotive networks (CAN/UDS/J1939).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded Linux applications for perception and automotive systems.
• Build and optimize Yocto-based Linux images and system components.
• Develop and integrate camera, radar, LiDAR, and IMU sensor pipelines.
• Design multi-camera perception pipelines using DeepStream and GStreamer.
• Optimize CPU, GPU, and memory for real-time use cases.
• Implement automotive diagnostics (UDS services) and fault-handling frameworks.
• Develop modular and multi-threaded architectures.
• Work on sensor fusion and alert/decision systems.
• Perform debugging, profiling, and performance tuning.
