The role emphasizes RFQ support, stakeholder requirements gathering, and coaching peers to adhere to Valeo standards while delivering high‑value features in a fast‑paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in engineering disciplines across automotive domains.
• Ability to gather stakeholder requirements and translate them into discipline specs.
• Experience supporting RFQ activities and making technical recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support during RFQ phase by evaluating technical solutions.
• Develop discipline requirements from multiple stakeholders and consolidate conflicting needs.
• Design complex features and perform technical reviews of project activities.
• Coach reviewers and help plan discipline development with project leadership.

Have a significant competency in his domain: Contribute to the technical knowledge of the organization by capitalizing best practices; Ensure standard excellence. Continuously improve standards; Contribute on transversal initiatives; Support the team leader in tailoring the standard processes based on project needs.

Design complex features and/or support/provide solutions to operational entities and control technical choices made: Support during competition Phase (RFQ), in the choice of technical solutions for mature products; Develop Discipline requirements by gathering the project different stakeholders’ requirements for mature products, consolidating them and identifying any conflicting requirements; Design complex features; Perform technical reviews on the different project’s activities; Present work progress continuously through active participation on project meetings; Develop a features list and organize them into work packages delivery phases to ensure maximum value delivered to the customer with each phase (optimize, reuse); Support Design Leaders & Project Management in the Discipline development planning; Check the performance level of the technical solutions provided.

Can provide innovative technologies solutions: Contribute for system and customer requirements analysis for new products; Contribute for high level design architecture definition for new products; Coach in his domain: Coach standard technical reviewers in his domain.
