Role Description

The Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee electrical design, implementation, and commissioning for construction and infrastructure projects in Patna. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves leading electrical engineering activities, preparing detailed electrical layouts and specifications, and coordinating with civil, mechanical, and project management teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and approving electrical drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, supervising installation and testing of power distribution and electrical systems, and resolving technical issues at the site. The role also includes vendor and contractor coordination, assessing material and equipment specifications, supporting cost and schedule optimization, and providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. The Senior Electrical Engineer will contribute to safety reviews, quality checks, and documentation to ensure reliable and efficient electrical infrastructure for each project.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience in Electrical Design, including preparation and review of detailed drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on expertise with Power Distribution systems, including selection, installation, and testing of switchgear, transformers, and related equipment.
• Practical knowledge of Power Systems analysis, protection, and coordination, ensuring safe and reliable operation in various project environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects, preferably in a senior or lead engineering capacity.
• Familiarity with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations, and experience with site-based quality and safety practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound technical decisions under time and resource constraints.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients.
• Proficiency in electrical design and analysis software, as well as standard office productivity tools.
