Job description

We are seeking a skilled Design Controls Engineer with hands-on experience inEPLANsoftware to join our Consumer Electronics - Design Controls team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and schematics for industrial automation and Semiconductor manufacturing companies.

Role & Responsibilities :-

• Design and develop electrical schematics using EPLAN.
• Create panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials (BOM).
• Collaborate with mechanical and automation teams to ensure integrated system design.
• Controls Conceptualization, BOM Selection, Reviews, managing team of 2-4 members
• Selection of Components, VFD, servo, drives, sensors, switchgears, relays
• Understanding and review of electrical drawing.
• Preparation of functional analysis and Risk analysis.
• Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Maintain documentation and version control of design files.
• Optimize designs for cost, efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 9-14 years of experience in electrical design using EPLAN.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, PLCs, and automation.
• Familiarity with IEC standards and electrical safety norms.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of System manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to project management tools and practices.
