Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Editor to lead editorial planning and execution across our Kannada news platform. • Lead the editorial team in covering breaking news, political developments, regional stories, and exclusive features.
• Coordinate with reporters, field journalists, desk editors, and anchors to maintain efficient content flow and strong news output.
• Review scripts, headlines, graphics, and video packages for quality and consistency.
• Play a key role in shaping the editorial tone and news agenda in line with channel strategy and audience expectations.
• Collaborate with digital, graphics, and production teams for seamless cross-platform publishing.
• Monitor competition and provide inputs for improving editorial delivery and viewer engagement.
• Mentor junior editorial staff and provide regular feedback to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 6–10 years of editorial experience, preferably in a television or digital news environment.
• Strong command of Kannada (both written and verbal) is essential; proficiency in English and Hindi is a plus.
