Job summary

Ciklum India is seeking a Senior Dynamics Engineer to join our India team as a full-time member. You will work on Dynamics 365 Business Central projects, developing and extending solutions using AL and C/AL, and integrating with external systems.

Join a cross-functional team and contribute to end-to-end delivery, documentation, and performance improvements, while leveraging Power Platform and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV (AL and C/AL).
• Strong understanding of BC architecture, extension model, and integration.
• Proficient in SQL and data handling for BC deployments.
• Experience with VS Code and AL development tools.
• Familiarity with Power Platform and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and extend D365 BC solutions using AL and extensions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into tech concepts.
• Integrate D365BC with third-party systems via web services and APIs.
• Contribute to full lifecycle: development, testing, deployment and support.
• Produce technical docs and maintain coding standards.
• Support upgrades, performance tuning, and system maintenance.

About The Role

As a Senior Dynamics Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and extend D365 Business Central solutions using AL and extensions
• Ability to work with and collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into technical concepts clearly
• Integrate D365BC with third-party systems using web services and APIs
• Contribute to full solution lifecycles from development and testing through to deployment and support
• Produce technical documentation and maintain coding standards
• Support upgrades, performance tuning, and system maintenance activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience developing with Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV (AL and C/AL)
• Strong understanding of D365BC architecture, extension model, and integration capabilities
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Visual Studio Code and AL development tools
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Experience in Working with Git, Docker, Powershell;
• Experience using Telemetry for diagnosing problems and analysing operations that affect performance
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage

• All things Postal workflow within Business Central and integration with Andoid Apps, BenchQ, myPostQ, and Royal Mail OBA
• Business Central AIMI, specific App ID MI reporting, and options for Client Services to self-manage report configuration
• Event integration with external workflow partner systems - OnePlatform and JCMS
• Integration of Business Central Operations with Busienss Central Finance
