Job summary

SII Group India in India is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to contribute across the full software lifecycle. You will work on Windows desktop applications using WPF and C#, collaborating with product teams to translate requirements into robust code.

The role requires 7–12 years of hands-on experience with .NET, SQL Server and MySQL, plus Git, CI/CD, and a focus on secure coding and quality assurance.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 7-12 years of hands-on experience in .NET application development.
• Experience developing Windows desktop applications using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) with C# and XAML.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases, including database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
• Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, unit testing, and secure coding practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile processes, including requirement clarification with Product Owners and task breakdown in Jira for feature development and bug fixes.
• Software Development & Quality Assurance
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code aligned with defined functional and technical requirements.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices and maintainability principles
• Ensure adherence to defined development quality gates, including but not limited to:
• Achieving a minimum of 80% unit test coverage
• Maintaining zero blocker-level security vulnerabilities as per applicable security standards and scanning tools.
