Job summary

Thales in Noida, India is hiring a Senior/Distinguished Technical Lead for the Data Security team. You will provide technical direction to software teams (10-20 members) without direct people management and contribute to architecture, requirements analysis, and design.

Your role involves agile SAFe practices, close collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring secure software development processes across the product lifecycle, with emphasis on security and distributed collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience.
• Expert in C++ or Golang with system programming and multithreading.
• Experience in SDK development, system software, and client-server apps.
• Familiar with cloud computing, microservices and container technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide technical directions (not people management) to software teams (10–20 members).
• Participate in requirements analysis, architectural and detailed design tasks.
• Work on agile SAFe methodology with stakeholders and multiple feature teams.
• Foster innovation and coordinate research with other departments/functions.
• Define efficient processes to ensure strict security in all development stages.
• Collaborate with CPL security, DIS GBU security, and Thales security groups.
• Engage with globally distributed stakeholders from security, engineering, and product management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide technical directions( but not managing ) to software development teams for a team size of 10-20 members.
• Participate in the development of modules including requirements analysis, architectural design, or detailed design tasks.
• Work on agile methodology using SAFe and work closely with Stakeholders and multiple feature teams.
• Foster innovation in software and technology product development. Coordinate research activities with other departments/functions Able to help technically team in debugging and reviews
• Define efficient processes to ensure strict security adherence at all stages of product development.
• Participate in discussions and be aware of the processes by working closely with CPL security team, DIS GBU security team and Thales security group.
• Engage and work with globally distributed stakeholders from security, engineering, architecture and product management teams.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience Criteria -10-15 Yrs
• Expert in C++ OR Golang, system programming & Multithreading.
• Experience in multiple areas of software technology including SDK development, system software development and client-server application development, ability to formulate software designs from specifications and to maintain an entire project/product, including schedules and documentation.
• Add on value if knows Cloud computing, micro services and container technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English language.
• Bachelor’s or, Master’s degree in computer science or, related discipline.
