Job summary

Qbotick Technologies seeks a Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Security Engineer to harden cloud infra, automate deployment pipelines, and enforce zero-trust postures across multi-tenant clusters.

You will lead on automated vulnerability scans, SBOM tracking, secrets workflows, and centralized observability while driving IaC with Terraform and configuration drift remediation. Strong Linux and cloud security experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Security engineering.
• Strong Linux systems administration and networking (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS) and shell scripting.
• Experience implementing SOC2/ISO27001-aligned controls in AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency with container security, IAM least-privilege policies, and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

Senior DevOps & Infrastructure Security Engineer

Harden cloud infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and enforce zero-trust security postures across multi-tenant enterprise clusters.

In this role, you will be directly responsible for system correctness, operational stability, and technical leadership across the following dimensions:

• Enforce automated vulnerability scanning, SBOM tracking, and container image signing (Cosign).
• Manage automated Secret management workflows using HashiCorp Vault and cloud KMS providers.
• Maintain centralized logging, metrics, and distributed tracing fabrics (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Automate cluster provisioning and configuration drift remediation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Participate in on-call escalation rotation with a focus on post-mortem blameless learning culture.

We evaluate candidates against demonstrated systems experience and sound foundational thinking:

• 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Security engineering.
• Strong Linux systems administration, networking protocols (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS), and shell automation.
• Experience implementing SOC2/ISO27001-aligned infrastructure controls in AWS or GCP.
• Proficiency with container security, IAM least-privilege policies, and network segmentation.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Background

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
• Experience with policy-as-code frameworks like Open Policy Agent (OPA) or Kyverno.
