Job summary

SEI is seeking a DevOps Architect / Engineer with senior‑level expertise in Azure migrations, enterprise architecture, automation, and governance. The role focuses on deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure components, enabling product teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.

Responsibilities include migrating workloads to the cloud, providing reference architectures for phased transformations to native Azure services, and building CI/CD pipelines with hands‑on delivery.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Applications, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience delivering systems and projects from inception through implementation.
• Expert knowledge of Azure compute, storage, networking, and enterprise migrations from on-prem to cloud.
• Experience designing and automating Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capabilities (virtual networks, VMs, cloud services).
• Expertise in creating, deploying, configuring, and scaling applications in Azure.
• Design experience for high-availability Azure systems (fault domains, availability zones, regions).
• Knowledge of Azure database fundamentals (Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL Managed Instance).
• Experience with automated provisioning of Dev/Test/Staging & Production environments using Infrastructure as Code.
• Extensive experience developing Terraform.
• Documentation of governance and workflows for cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring and logging tools (Log Analytics, Azure Monitor).
• Experience with financial management in cloud using tools such as Cloud Health, Apptio.
• Ability to incorporate security and control resource access using Azure IAM and deployment best practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Entra, App Registrations.
• Demonstrated ability to create system architecture diagrams and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to prepare detailed build/test plans for new technologies.
• Skill in breaking down application requirements and proposing appropriate architectural solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of JIRA (JQL queries, filters, dashboards) and designing workflows, validators, conditions, post-functions.
• Preferred AZ303 certification.
